Modern Warfare 4 PS5 beta adds debut campaign mission

The latest update confirms that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s PS5 beta will include the campaign mission ‘Entrenched’, alongside multiplayer and Warzone content. This is the first time a Call of Duty beta has offered a single-player campaign level, giving players an earlier view of the game beyond its competitive modes.
Players who pre-order can join the early-access beta from 21 to 25 August 2026, with five multiplayer maps and nine modes available alongside the mission. The open beta runs from 28 August to 1 September, adding further maps and modes plus the new Warzone Resurgence map, Zodiac, before the full PS5 release on 23 October 2026.
