Avant-garde musician Mari Rubio, who performs as more eaze, has announced a new album, valley and structure, due for release on 9 October via Thrill Jockey. The announcement follows her earlier 2026 album sentence structure in the country and underlines the pace of her solo work alongside collaborations including Whait, Pink Must and Water Damage.

The album features Rubio with Claire rousay collaborator Wendy Eisenberg, Jade Guterman, Conner Simmons, Nora Stanley and Sammy Weissberg. Its lead single, “what’s wrong with the structure?”, is described as a minimalist jazz lead-sheet composition combining ensemble improvisation with Rubio’s post-production; the five-track record is accompanied by UK, European and North American tour dates.
