The Reytons have secured their second UK Number One album with their self-released fourth record, ‘A Love Letter To A Broken Town’. The Rotherham band said the result demonstrated the strength of its independent, community-led following, with frontman Jonny Yerrell noting that the album received no mainstream radio plays.

The album also topped the Official Vinyl Albums Chart and follows the band’s 2023 chart-topper, ‘What’s Rock And Roll?’. In a competitive release week, FLO’s ‘Therapy At The Club’ entered at Number Five, while Role Model, Overmono and Man/Woman/Chainsaw also made new Top 40 entries; The Reytons will resume their UK and Ireland tour in October.
