‘Incredibles 3’ Drops First Look Concept Art Ahead of Summer 2028 Release Date

Pixar has revealed first-look concept art and plot details for ‘Incredibles 3’, which is scheduled for a cinema release on 16 June 2028. The sequel will put Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack more prominently at the centre of the action as they secretly protect their city at night, while concealing this from their parents.
The story takes place after superheroes regain legal status at the end of ‘Incredibles 2’, with no time jump, meaning the Parr children remain their established ages. Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Samuel L. Jackson and Huck Milner are returning; Brad Bird has written all three films, while Peter Sohn will direct the third instalment.

The Incredibles is a Pixar animated film series about the Parr family, who have superpowers but try to live ordinary lives. Bob Parr, also known as Mr Incredible, has great strength, while Helen, or Elastigirl, can stretch her body; their children Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack each have different abilities.
The first two films take place in a world where superheroes were once forced into hiding because of public safety concerns and legal restrictions. By the end of the second film, superheroes are again allowed to operate openly, changing the position of the Parr family and their allies.
The films have featured the voices of Craig T. Nelson and Holly Hunter as Bob and Helen, alongside Sarah Vowell, Huck Milner and Samuel L. Jackson. Brad Bird wrote and directed the earlier films, while Peter Sohn is a Pixar director known for films including Elemental.
