Pixar has revealed early story details for *Incredibles 3* at Disney’s D23 event, including the arrival of a powerful new villain and a greater focus on Violet and Dash Parr. The sequel will explore the children’s attempts to establish themselves as superheroes, while Bob Parr faces doubts about his place in an expanding superhero world.

Supers are legal again after the events of the previous film, and Winston Dever is launching a commercially backed superhero league. Violet and Dash secretly patrol the city despite their parents’ reservations, while the family also struggles to manage Jack-Jack; the new antagonist is said to be stronger than the Parr family and other Supers combined. Peter Sohn is directing Brad Bird’s script, with Craig T. Nelson, Sarah Vowell and Huck Milner returning, ahead of a June 2028 release.
