‘Disney Dreamlight Valley’ Will Get Free ‘Lilo & Stitch’ and ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ Updates
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s roadmap for the rest of 2026 includes two free character updates and a paid expansion, announced during Disney’s D23 event. The updates will add Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas and Lilo from Lilo & Stitch, while the expansion will take players beneath the sea with Captain Jack Sparrow.
Oogie Boogie is due in September after the annual Halloween event, and Lilo will arrive in a holiday-themed December update to reunite with Stitch. The paid The Keepsake Sea expansion is planned for October, though no exact date was given; Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire outfits also enter the Premium Shop on 19 August, and players can claim a free D23 Varsity Jacket 2026 using the code “DDVD23PANELGIFT”.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life-simulation and adventure game set in a village inhabited by Disney and Pixar characters. Players customise the area, complete quests, cook, fish and build friendships while helping characters return after a magical disruption called the Forgetting.
The game is made by Gameloft and has continued to grow through regular additions of characters, locations and cosmetic items. Some updates are free for all players, while larger expansions and items in the Premium Shop cost extra.
The new characters come from well-known Disney films: Oogie Boogie is the villain in The Nightmare Before Christmas, while Lilo is the young Hawaiian girl who becomes Stitch’s friend in Lilo & Stitch. Captain Jack Sparrow is the pirate played by Johnny Depp in the Pirates of the Caribbean films.
