"Do Us Part," an independent romantic comedy, began as a brief 25-page script that grew into a one-act stage play receiving strong audience responses. Producer, writer, director, and star Reed Arnold collaborated with original cast members Kelly Russo and Travis Laughlin to transform the successful play into a feature film, managing the entire 16-day production schedule with only 13 days devoted to actual shooting.

The film centres on Ryan (Laughlin) on his wedding day when his college best friend and former unrequited love, Rose (Russo), disrupts the ceremony to declare her feelings. His best man Mark (Arnold) navigates a complex web of secrets to get Ryan to the altar. Throughout the compressed shoot, the production team encountered substantial obstacles, including a workplace safety incident that the crew narrowly avoided during filming.
