‘She’s Doing Nothing Wrong’ — Former Peter Pan Actor Defends Viral Fan Accused of ‘Stalking’ Him at Disneyland
A former Disneyland performer who played Peter Pan has publicly defended a superfan whose videos of their theme park encounters went viral and drew accusations of "stalking". Dylan Gadeke, who portrayed the character between 2014 and 2021, said the fan known as "babytoni99" (Toni) had done nothing wrong, despite widespread online mockery of their awkward interactions. His intervention highlights the pressures faced by theme park performers, as well as the harsh scrutiny "Disney adult" fans can face when their devotion is shared online.
Toni, who has reportedly visited the Peter Pan character weekly for a decade, became the subject of backlash after a TikTok video showing her gifting a crocheted keychain to an actor and following him around the park amassed more than 43 million views, with viewers describing the actor as visibly uncomfortable. A further Instagram compilation of her interactions over the years, posted on 18 July 2026, fuelled further ridicule. Responding on TikTok on 17 August, Gadeke said Toni's enthusiasm made him "a little awkward" at times but never crossed any boundaries, urged followers to stop engaging with the pile-on, and called for the "harassment" and "online toxicity" directed at her to end.
