Cardi B Is Team KATSEYE, Clapping Back at ‘Hootie Frutti’ Haters

Cardi B has publicly declared her support for KATSEYE's new single "Hootie Frutti", pushing back against critics of the track. In an Instagram Live, the rapper sang along and performed some of the accompanying choreography, saying she, her daughter Kulture and Blossom all love the song, and the clip quickly spread across social media, with fans calling for a remix featuring Cardi herself.

A separate video also circulated showing Cardi watching the "Hootie Frutti" music video with her family, bouncing along to the beat while holding Blossom. The song, released on 14 August as part of KATSEYE's EP WILD, features Brazilian phonk-inspired percussion and a music video set at an underground party in Brazil; the group also performed it on NBC's Today show following the EP's release.
