Nintendo is rolling out Ver. 11.3.0 for Splatoon 3 this week across both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The update introduces a new weapon called the Plastic-Bottle Shot Replica, which becomes available to players who own Splatoon Raiders save data and have completed its main story, claimable from the lobby terminal.

Beyond the new weapon, the patch focuses on multiplayer balance through adjustments to numerous main weapons (Carbon Roller, Tri-Slosher, Glooga Dualies, E-liter variants, and others) and special weapons (Triple Splashdown, Trizooka, Ink Vac). Nintendo also modified the point requirements for certain special weapons. The stated goal is to shift weapon viability across different roles, making it harder to dominate specific areas whilst strengthening underutilised weapons and improving their distinctive qualities.
