Range Media Partners has signed actor Corey Hawkins for representation, Variety has exclusively reported, with the actor continuing to be represented separately by WME, JTWAMM and Shelter PR. The move marks a significant addition for Range Media as it builds out its talent roster with an actor who has steadily risen from breakout supporting roles to leading parts across film, television and theatre.

Hawkins, a Juilliard drama graduate, first gained attention playing Dr. Dre in 2015's "Straight Outta Compton" before appearing in films including "Kong: Skull Island" and "BlacKkKlansman." His recent credits include Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey," Amazon MGM's "Crime 101" alongside Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, "The Piano Lesson" and "The Color Purple." On television he led Fox's "24: Legacy," while on stage he earned a Tony nomination for "Topdog/Underdog." He next stars in the thriller "Nightwatching" alongside Mila Kunis.
