JACK OSBOURNE Confirms 2027 OZZFEST Will Be One-Day Event: ‘We’re Gonna Announce The Main Headliner’ In The Next Couple Of Weeks
Jack Osbourne has confirmed that the 2027 revival of Ozzfest, taking place at Aston Villa's Villa Park in Birmingham, will be a single-day event rather than a multi-day festival, sticking to the show's traditional format. Speaking on SiriusXM's Page Six Radio, Ozzy Osbourne's son said an announcement about the headline act and further details would come within the next couple of weeks, adding that curating the line-up has become harder because many major acts now run their own festivals and command high fees.
Jack said he is prioritising artists with a genuine connection to Ozzy and the festival's heritage, citing past Ozzfest alumni such as Disturbed, Slipknot and System of a Down, and confirmed at least one unsigned act will again be given a slot. Villa Park previously hosted Ozzy's farewell "Back to the Beginning" concert in July 2025. Sharon Osbourne has separately said Ozzfest won't tour in 2027 but could return as a travelling festival from 2028 if demand allows, and hinted Judas Priest's Rob Halford could feature in a future edition.
