Goblin Cock Announce First Album in Eight Years, Unveil Single “Remains”: Stream
Doom metal act Goblin Cock have announced their fifth studio album, Traumanaut, due for release via Joyful Noise Records on 9th October 2026, marking their first new record in eight years. Alongside the announcement, the band, fronted by Lord Phallus, shared the lead single "Remains", which notably moves away from their trademark doom sound towards a more melodic, alternative-rock style with heavier guitar tones, alongside more emotionally sincere lyrics than the band's typically comedic output.
The album follows 2016's piano-driven covers record Roses on the Piano, with Traumanaut representing the first metal release from the project in a decade, since 2016's Necronomidonkeykongimicon. The ten-track album includes songs such as "Flowers Grow", "Fifth Reich Bio-Dome" and "Two Swords", and the single "Remains" is now available to stream.
