Horse Jumper of Love Plot Tour and Debut Album Reissue
Boston slowcore trio Horse Jumper of Love are marking the 10th anniversary of their self-titled debut album with a deluxe reissue and a full-album tour, celebrating a record that became an underground favourite in the DIY slowcore and shoegaze scene despite starting out on a small independent label. The reissue features remastered tracks alongside previously unheard material, giving fans new insight into the band's early years.
Horse Jumper of Love (Deluxe Edition) arrives on 25 September via Run for Cover as a 2xLP vinyl set, including a hand-drawn tab book by singer-guitarist Dimitri Giannopoulos, an essay on the album's creation, early tour photos, scanned handwritten lyrics and an unspecified "secret". It also includes unreleased song "Heather", recorded in 2013. The band will tour North America from 25 September to 23 October, then head to Europe in November for shows including London's Pitchfork Festival, before wrapping up in Dublin on 24 November.
