My Morning Jacket has entered into a publishing arrangement with Peermusic that encompasses the band's forthcoming catalogue alongside solo material from frontman Jim James. The agreement continues a partnership that began in 2002 when executive Jamie Cerreta initially signed the group to Chrysalis; Cerreta recently joined Peermusic and has been expanding the publisher's artist roster. Both parties cited a deep professional bond, with Cerreta and James highlighting mutual respect forged over decades of collaboration.

The five-piece rock band has maintained an active presence in the industry for over 25 years, accumulating twelve albums on the Billboard 200 chart. Their 2025 release generated two chart-topping entries on the Adult Alternative Airplay chart. The publishing deal also covers James' upcoming solo album, Wowed Out, scheduled for distribution through ATO Records.
