India's Epic Studios has struck a deal with Rusk Media Private Limited to jointly produce 50 original vertical drama series, part of an effort to build what the companies describe as India's largest library of owned vertical-drama intellectual property. The agreement pairs Epic Studios' experience in television, streaming and film development with the digital-first distribution reach of Rusk Media's platform Alright! TV, reflecting the rapid growth of the vertical-drama format among mobile-first audiences both in India and globally.

The new series will span genres including mythology, drama, mystery, thriller and romance, and will premiere on Alright! TV. Aditya Pittie, managing director of The Epic Company (Epic Studios' parent, formerly IN10 Media Network), said the initial 50-title slate is just a starting point, with plans to reach over 250 titles by mid-2027. Rusk Media, founded in 2019 and also active on platforms such as Amazon MX Player and JioHotstar, said the tie-up builds on an existing partnership with Epic to deliver content for younger, digital-first Indian audiences.
