Anderson .Paak and Cordae have confirmed their long-anticipated joint album, ending years of speculation about a full collaborative project. The two artists have been close for some time, having previously spoken of their intention to eventually record together, and the announcement marks the realisation of that ambition.

The album, titled 'Heavy Is The Crown', is set for release on 23rd October via APESHIT/Mass Appeal/EMPIRE, accompanied by a trailer shared on social media. Its artwork references the comedy film Step Brothers, reflecting the pair's playful yet creatively grounded friendship. .Paak and Cordae first worked together on 'RNP', from Cordae's acclaimed debut 'The Lost Boy', and have since collaborated on tracks including 'Two Tens' and 'Summer Drop', as well as joint live performances on The Tonight Show and at the BET Awards.
