Nintendo’s eShop is the digital shop for its Switch consoles, where players can buy and download games. Its weekly Download update lists new releases and other content coming to the North American store.
The Switch 2 is Nintendo’s newer console, while the original Switch remains supported. The games in this update come from Nintendo and outside publishers, including Elden Ring, a fantasy action game, and Metal Gear Solid, a long-running series of espionage games.
The list includes new editions of older games as well as retro arcade re-releases. It matters to players choosing what to buy and which Nintendo console they need to play each title.
