The Epic Games Store is offering two free items this week for PC gamers: a full game, Cardpocalypse, and a large cosmetic bundle for the MMORPG Albion Online. The promotion gives players a limited window to claim both at no cost, continuing Epic's regular practice of rotating free giveaways to draw users to its storefront.

Cardpocalypse is a card-battling, choice-driven RPG evoking a 1990s childhood, in which kids take a banned card game underground after mutants from it begin appearing in the real world; it also includes a roguelike Gauntlet Mode. Albion Online, a fantasy sandbox MMORPG running since 2017 with over 27,000 "Mostly Positive" Steam reviews, is offering its Epic Mage Bundle, valued at more than $55 and including wardrobe and mount skins, guild customisation items, tokens, Learning Points and potions. Both offers can be claimed via the Epic Games Store and remain free until Thursday 27 August at 11am EDT (4pm BST).
