Bibio (Stephen Wilkinson) and Dorian Concept (Oliver Johnson) have announced their debut collaborative album, Answers, due out 16 October via Warp, alongside the lead single and video "Lichen Trip." The pair have known each other for more than 15 years, but only began collaborating after Wilkinson was struck by Johnson's 2022 video for "Let It All Go," leading them to form the joint project Bibio & Dorian Concept.

The album was made remotely across Vienna, Wolverhampton and rural Wales, and comprises 13 tracks including "Womb Glow," "Shame," "Hammock Portal" and "Pomegranate." The "Lichen Trip" single features a hypnotic rhythm built from acoustic guitar and a Roland SH-101 synth run through a vintage Eventide Orville processor, paired with a self-directed video mixing digital effects and optical illusions with soft-focused nature imagery.
