EA has launched the FUTTIES Finale Evolution in FC 26's Ultimate Team mode, letting players apply a major stat boost to a card of their choosing. The upgrade is available for a cost of 50,000 coins and, because it only requires a single in-game task to unlock, is being flagged as worthwhile despite the price.

Eligible cards must have a maximum overall rating of 97, up to 10 PlayStyles and up to 4 PlayStyle+, and cannot be goalkeepers. The single upgrade level activates immediately upon completing one match in Squad Battles (minimum Semi-Pro difficulty) or in Rush, Rivals, Champions or Live Events, boosting overall rating to 98 alongside +10 to shooting, passing and dribbling, +4 weak foot and skill moves, and the Incisive Pass PlayStyle+. Recommended cards to apply it to include Lukebakio PTG, Ronaldo GOTG Icon, Ronaldinho GOTG Icon, Griezmann FUTTIES, Isak PTG, Williams PTG, Kluivert FUTTIES Icon, Doku FUTTIES, Zidane GOTG Icon, Vini Jr and Berbatov FUTTIES Hero, with a couple of Icons requiring prior evolutions first.
