Nitro Deck 2 Is Finally Out for Switch 2 Next Week

IGN · 5 hours ago

CRKD's Nitro Deck 2, a third-party controller accessory for the Nintendo Switch 2, will finally launch on 28 August after several delays. It aims to address long-standing complaints that the console's stock Joy-Con 2 controllers are uncomfortable, with thin, short thumbsticks and cramped buttons that feel poor both in handheld use and when clipped into a grip.

Priced at $99.99, the device can be used in handheld mode or collapsed into a standalone controller for docked play, reducing the need to buy separate accessories. It features full-sized CaptiSticks, which resist stick drift like Hall Effect sticks and offer adjustable resistance, alongside swappable stick tops and D-pads, four back buttons and two extra shoulder buttons, plus fully remappable controls. A tightening dial also makes it compatible with the original Switch and Switch OLED models.
