Farm Aid will return to CNN for a second consecutive year, with the 2026 edition of the long-running charity concert airing live on Saturday, 26 September at 7pm. Founded in the 1980s by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp to support American farmers, the festival has raised more than $85 million for the Good Food Movement over the decades and remains one of music's most enduring charitable partnerships.

The broadcast, hosted by CNN anchors John Berman and Laura Coates with on-the-ground reporting from chief climate correspondent Bill Weir, will be filmed at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and run for four hours. This year's lineup includes Nelson, Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts, Mellencamp, Dave Matthews with Tim Reynolds, Margo Price and Nathaniel Rateliff. CNN's 2025 coverage reached over 3.8 million people and helped raise more than $615,000, and organisers hope to build on that success in 2026 via CNN and its app.
