On the morning of August 21, rock band Buckcherry's tour bus was caught up in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 26 near Spartanburg, South Carolina. The band announced through social media that all members and touring staff came through the incident without injury.

The accident resulted in one fatality when a passing vehicle struck a pedestrian who had exited their own vehicle following a prior single-vehicle crash in the area. Buckcherry issued condolences to the deceased's family and confirmed their performance scheduled for Fort Lauderdale will go ahead as planned, expressing appreciation for the support they have received.
