Professionally filmed footage has been released from The Transformers: The Movie 40th Anniversary Celebration Of Life Concert, held at San Diego’s House of Blues on 23 July during Comic-Con week. The event formed part of Hasbro’s year-long, tongue-in-cheek “Apology Tour”, marking four decades since the animated film and its famously emotional storyline.

Knights of Unicron performed music from the reformatted soundtrack edition, joined by former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach, Stan Bush and composer Vince DiCola. The programme also included Cold Slither and Jem and the Holograms featuring original singer Britta Phillips; Bach performed “Nothin’s Gonna Stand In Our Way” near the end of the show.
