Championship roundup: Millwall beat Norwich; Portsmouth sink Lincoln
Millwall made it two wins from two in the Championship by beating 10-man Norwich 3-0, while Portsmouth secured their first league victory of the season with a 3-1 win at Lincoln. The results increase early pressure on Norwich, who were expected to challenge for the playoffs but have lost both opening matches, and leave Lincoln still without a win on their return to the second tier.
Tairyk Arconte scored twice on his home debut for Millwall, with Luke Cundle adding a late third after Norwich defender José Córdoba was sent off for a second booking. Portsmouth led through Ryan Kavuma-McQueen and Adrian Segecic before Lincoln reduced the deficit through Reeco Hackett-Fairchild’s penalty; substitute Ebrima Adams sealed the result in the 69th minute. Elsewhere, Demarai Gray’s late penalty earned Birmingham a 2-2 draw against Bristol City.
