The free Leyenda de Moncada Evolution has launched in FC 26 Ultimate Team, allowing players to upgrade an eligible outfield card to a 98 overall rating. It matters because the four-stage upgrade provides near endgame attacking, dribbling and passing attributes, potentially making previously less competitive cards highly effective.

– Eligible cards must be rated 97 or below, have no more than five positions, and cannot be goalkeepers.
– Each of the four upgrade stages requires playing one match with the active Evolution player.
– The upgrades include 98-rated finishing, long shots, agility, balance, short passing, ball control and dribbling.
– Recommended cards include PTG versions of Ødegaard, Vinícius Júnior, Frenkie de Jong and Xhaka; Fernando Torres; Alexia Putellas; and FUTTIES versions of Berbatov.
– Existing Evolution chains can also be used within the upgrade set.
