A 31-year-old mother, Kenya Glasgow, and her two-year-old daughter Kennedi died after being struck by lightning while walking in Margate, near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, during a thunderstorm on Sunday. The tragedy has devastated the family, with Kenya's husband Kam Glasgow publicly mourning the loss of his "best friend" and noting that their surviving twin daughter, Kensli, must now grow up without her identical sister. The pair were struck shortly before 2.30pm and found by a resident who alerted emergency services, describing burn marks and smoke coming from their bodies.
