Jean-Louis wrote that the reunion "was deeply emotional", with sadness mixed with warmth as the cast recalled happy memories with Panettiere. Other co-stars had already paid tribute following her death, including Jack Coleman, who played her on-screen father and praised her resilience and animal welfare advocacy, and Masi Oka, who called her "way wiser beyond her years" and expressed heartbreak at her passing.
