Over two nights in Perth, Albanese attended fundraisers hosted by property developer Nigel Satterley at the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club and by Fortescue deputy chairman Mark Barnaba at his Mosman Park mansion, with guests including WA Premier Roger Cook, former premier Mark McGowan, and senior mining executives. The visit followed earlier fundraising events in Sydney and Adelaide in July, and Albanese notably did not campaign publicly with Labor's Secret Harbour candidate, Georgia Tree, who faces a strong One Nation challenge.
