Doncaster sign Villa forward O’Reilly on loan
Doncaster Rovers have strengthened their attacking options by signing forward Tommi O'Reilly on a season-long loan from Premier League club Aston Villa. The 22-year-old joins with plenty of lower-league experience, having previously featured on loan for Shrewsbury Town, MK Dons and Crewe Alexandra, and his move gives the League Two side an established, creative attacking presence for the coming campaign.
O'Reilly spent the whole of last season on loan at Crewe Alexandra, appearing in every League Two fixture, underlining his reliability and fitness. Speaking about his qualities, he described himself as a creative player who likes to be on the ball, beat opponents and contribute both goals and assists, saying he simply wants to help the team.
