Roku has agreed a partnership with the National Women’s Soccer League to show eight Sunday-night matches free on The Roku Channel from 30 August. The deal expands Roku’s existing NWSL highlights offering and gives viewers another free way to watch women’s football as demand and competition for broadcasting rights grow.

The first match will feature Seattle Reign FC against Houston Dash, while the final scheduled game is San Diego Wave FC versus Boston Legacy FC on 25 October. Roku says it will then stream a Sunday-night NWSL match every week during the 2027 season, joining a fragmented rights landscape that also includes CBS/Paramount+, ESPN, Ion, Amazon Prime Video and NWSL+; Netflix will exclusively show the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in the US.
