The Warner Music Group/Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund has announced 17 grants in its first funding round of 2026, committing almost $6 million to organisations in the US and UK. The funding matters because it combines support for music-based opportunities with initiatives addressing criminal justice, education and racial equity.

Six organisations are new recipients, including Atlanta Music Project, Brooklyn Youth Sports Club’s VOICES programme, Classical Pride and North of England music development body Generator. The $100 million fund has committed more than $52 million since 2020; this round will also support 75 prison libraries over five years through Freedom Reads, voter education through the Global Black Economic Forum, and returning groups including Black Lives in Music, The Marshall Project and Civil Rights Corps.
