Interpol have released This Mirror Weighs a Ton, their eighth studio album and first for Partisan Records. The 12-track record marks their first new album since 2022 and is presented as an expansion of the band’s sound through added sound design and woodwinds.

The album was produced by Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow, who has also worked with Mark Ronson, Lady Gaga and Liam Gallagher. It is Interpol’s first record featuring longstanding touring musician Brad Truax on bass, arriving during a year of major festival appearances and ahead of further US, Canadian and international dates.
