Jem Cassar-Daley has released her debut studio album, Tattoos Used To Come Off In The Pool, through Sony Music Australia. The nine-track record reflects her experiences of growing up and changing relationships, and marks a more self-assured stage in her career, with Cassar-Daley saying she was closely involved in every creative decision.

The album includes earlier singles such as “Clichés”, “Speak Now”, “Cool Girl” and “All I’m Thinking About”, blending indie-pop with country elements and retaining many original demo recordings. Cassar-Daley, a proud Gumbaynggirr and Bundjalung artist and daughter of musician Troy Cassar-Daley, will promote it at BIGSOUND before a September national headline tour across five Australian cities; she has already won Queensland Music Awards song of the year in both 2024 and 2026.
