Panasonic’s Lumix L10 is a premium compact camera that combines strong image quality, fast performance and a versatile zoom lens, making it a practical alternative to fixed-lens rivals for travel, events and everyday photography. Its main drawback is the high $1,500 price, particularly as it is larger and heavier than the LX100 II it replaces.

The L10 uses a 20.3-megapixel Four Thirds sensor, a 24-75mm equivalent f/1.7-2.8 Leica zoom and phase-hybrid autofocus with 779 points. It can shoot at 9fps with continuous autofocus using the mechanical shutter or 30fps electronically, and adds a fully articulating screen, 420-shot battery life and 4K 60p recording for up to 100 minutes. The camera is less pocketable than its predecessor at 508g, but offers useful controls, macro focusing and AI recognition for people, animals and vehicles.
