The America First Policy Institute has filed a public-records request over Enes Kanter Freedom’s removal from a Chicago Sky game and his subsequent ban from Wintrust Arena. The group says it is investigating whether public entities were involved in decisions affecting his access to the publicly owned venue, though the request does not establish that his constitutional rights were violated.

Freedom was escorted out after a verbal exchange with Sky player Natasha Cloud during a game against the Indiana Fever, while wearing a shirt defining “woman” as an adult human female. AFPI has requested contracts, security and law-enforcement policies, records identifying who authorised the removal and ban, and information on federal funding; no lawsuit has been filed.
