Absolutely (Abby-Lynn Keen), the 22-year-old experimental pop artist, spoke to NME backstage at Reading Festival 2026 after performing on the main stage alongside her sisters RAYE and Amma, who both played separate sets elsewhere on the bill. It marked her first visit to Reading, and she described the experience of drawing a large, enthusiastic crowd as "surreal" and "really insane", noting she was still getting used to festival performances after playing only a handful to date.

The interview touched on her February-released second album 'Paracosm', which she said was inspired by a childlike, rule-free approach to creativity after a fan's YouTube comment led her to discover the word's meaning. She also reflected on her musical upbringing, crediting her father for teaching the family to write songs and her mother's gospel music for shaping their sound, and revealed she, RAYE and Amma had been supporting each other's sets throughout the weekend. Looking ahead, she said she is returning to the studio, considering a solo tour, and continuing to design clothes.
