Former Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson ‘plans to move back to Britain in the next few days’

Daily Mail · 3 hours ago

Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, is reportedly set to return to the UK within days after spending seven months living abroad across Switzerland and Austria. She is understood to be renting a six-bedroom house in a gated community in the Home Counties, marking the end of a period of uncertainty following her and Prince Andrew's fall from royal favour over his links to Jeffrey Epstein.

The 66-year-old will reportedly pay £10,000 a month for the property, with sources suggesting she could move in as soon as Monday; removal vans have already been spotted at Andrew's Sandringham residence. Her return follows the couple being stripped of their royal titles last October and their eviction from Royal Lodge, their home of 18 years, in February. It also comes just days after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle relocated to the UK, with sources suggesting Ferguson hopes the focus on the Sussexes will allow her to return largely unnoticed. Andrew, meanwhile, remains under police investigation after his February arrest over alleged misconduct in a public office, which he denies.
