Iziah Utai, the 24-year-old son of former NRL player Matt Utai and an alleged member of Sydney's Coconut Cartel gang, has posted a video of himself dancing with a pistol and a magazine of bullets while apparently hiding overseas. He is wanted by NSW Police over the death of an underworld figure last year, and the post is the latest taunt in his gang's violent feud with the rival Alameddine syndicate for control of Sydney's drug trade, a conflict that has already turned deadly and destructive for his family.

The clip, posted on Saturday, shows Utai twirling a gun while dancing to music, captioned "cheee hooo" alongside a coconut emoji. He has previously shared footage of himself shooting at targets bearing the faces of Alameddine associates, and other posts show him travelling through Saudi Arabia and Albania. The feud has seen his father shot twice outside his home in Greenacre in February, an automatic-weapon attack on a home linked to Utai's in-laws, and arson attacks on properties connected to his mother and himself; Utai has prior convictions for armed robbery, drugs and firearms offences dating back to 2019.
