British tight end Seydou Traore has secured a spot on the Miami Dolphins' initial 53-man roster, ensuring he will be part of the team from the start of the 2026 NFL season. This makes the 24-year-old the first graduate of England's NFL Academy to complete the full pathway into the league, a milestone for the programme designed to develop international talent for American football.

Traore, who was born in France but raised in London, played for the London Warriors before joining the NFL Academy in 2019. He went on to attend Clearwater Academy in Florida, then Arkansas State University before transferring to Mississippi State, and was drafted by the Dolphins in the fifth round in April on a four-year, $4.8m (£3.6m) rookie contract.
