Japanese singer-songwriter Yoshiki has signed a global distribution and publishing administration deal with BMG through his own record label, Melodee, marking a significant expansion of his international presence. The agreement covers new releases, catalogue material and publishing administration outside Japan, positioning BMG to support the artist's push into new creative territory that blends rock, pop, classical and contemporary styles.

Distribution will begin with "Forever Love (Live)", a new collaboration with vocalist Josh Groban, and also covers Yoshiki's solo album "Eternal Melody" as well as X Japan albums released from 1993 onwards, including "Art of Life" and "Dahlia". In further industry moves, Concord Music Publishing has signed Israeli artist Noga Erez and her collaborator Ori Rousso to a global publishing deal covering future work and key catalogue tracks, while cancer charity City of Hope has appointed Black Music Action Coalition head Willie "Prophet" Stiggers to the executive board of its Music, Film and Entertainment Industry group, which has raised over $180 million for the organisation.
