The Emmy Awards recognise achievement in television, with separate ceremonies covering different kinds of work. The Creative Arts Emmys honour areas such as acting in guest roles, animation, production design and technical crafts.
They are organised by the Television Academy, a US organisation for television professionals. The Creative Arts ceremonies take place before the main Primetime Emmy Awards, which recognise leading programmes and performances; together, the events give awards across a wide range of television work.
