Actor Stephen Kalyn, who broke through with a lead role in "Off Campus," has joined the cast of Lionsgate's "The Housemaid's Secret," the sequel to 2025's hit "The Housemaid." He will play Brock, the lawyer boyfriend of Sydney Sweeney's character Millie, who remains unaware of her criminal past. The casting marks another significant step for the rising actor, who is simultaneously set to feature prominently in the second season of "Off Campus."

Kalyn joins an ensemble that includes Sweeney, Kirsten Dunst, Michele Morrone and Paul Anthony Kelly, with the film based on Freida McFadden's bestselling novel and following Millie into a new job shrouded in dark secrets. Paul Feig returns to direct, with Rebecca Sonnenshine again writing the screenplay; production is due to begin later this year, ahead of a US theatrical release on 17 December 2027.
