JMGO has launched its Iris Ultra Max, a 4K, 120Hz all-in-one Google TV projector, outside China, positioning it as a strong option for gaming and sports thanks to high brightness and low-latency features. The projector uses a new dual-iris system, with two physical apertures placed at different points along the optical path, to achieve a claimed native contrast ratio of 10,000:1, addressing a common weakness of projectors. However, a reviewer notes that JMGO's previous flagship, the N3 Ultimate, suffered from colour distortion at peak brightness, suggesting buyers should await independent reviews before judging picture quality.

The device is claimed to produce 6,500 ISO lumens from a triple-laser light engine, up from the 6,000 lumens JMGO offered last year, reflecting a broader trend of rising brightness among all-in-one projectors. It sits on a motorised pan-and-tilt gimbal, offers 0.88–1.7:1 optical zoom and extensive lens shift for flexible placement, and supports VRR, ALLM and Dolby Vision HDR at 4K 120Hz for gaming. It will eventually retail at $3,499, though preorders opening today are priced at $2,999, with shipping due to begin on 19 October.
