Police in South Yorkshire are appealing for help identifying a woman whose dog bit a man at Doncaster Pride, leaving him with serious arm injuries. The incident happened after the man asked to stroke the dog and its owner agreed, but the animal then attacked, prompting officers to seek the owner's assistance with their investigation.

The attack took place on 8 August at the Pride event on Town Field, Thorne Road, involving a dog thought to be a Carpathian Shepherd named Bonnie. South Yorkshire Police described the sought woman as being in her 30s with dark brown hair, wearing a white top and pink hat at the time, and have released an image of her in the hope she will come forward.
