AC Black Flag Resynced Update 1.0.7 Available to Download Now
Developed over time first seen 2 months ago
Ubisoft has released update 1.0.7 for Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced on PS5, now live after being detailed a day ahead of launch. The patch focuses on visual refinements and behind-the-scenes fixes rather than new content, though Ubisoft has also confirmed a New Game+ mode remains in development for a future update.
The 1.53GB download adds the option to hide pistols, building on the existing ability to hide the blowpipe, and removes glint effects from trinket perks that could make Edward's outfit stand out unintentionally. It also introduces a new rescuable pet that players can later bring back to their Hideout. Beyond these changes, the update primarily addresses bug fixes and minor under-the-hood improvements.

Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced is a remastered version of the 2013 pirate-themed instalment in Ubisoft's long-running Assassin's Creed series, brought up to date for current hardware including PS5. As with most modern games, it continues to receive periodic patches after release, tweaking features and fixing problems that players encounter.
Update 1.0.7 is one of these routine patches. It does not add major new content but instead makes smaller adjustments, such as visual options and interface tweaks, aimed at improving the day-to-day experience for people already playing the game.
Ubisoft has also separately confirmed it is working on a New Game+ mode, a common feature in games that lets players replay the story with items and progress carried over from a previous playthrough. This is not included in the current update and remains in development, giving longer-term context for how the game may continue to evolve.
