Wes Studi and Dane DiLiegro have joined the cast of Amazon MGM Studios' upcoming horror film "Seasons," a psychological thriller directed by Drew Hancock. They join a previously announced line-up including Lily James, Jack Reynor, Ron Perlman and Elizabeth McGovern, adding further star power to a project already backed by major producing names in Hollywood horror.

The film is adapted from a novel by Matt and Harrison Query, itself based on a short story that originated on Reddit, and follows a couple whose dream ranch purchase turns nightmarish when they discover the land is inhabited by ancient spirits demanding disturbing seasonal rituals. It marks the third collaboration between 21 Laps (Shawn Levy, Dan Levine) and Blumhouse Atomic Monster (James Wan, Michael Clear), whose previous joint effort, A24's "Backrooms," broke A24's opening-weekend record with $81.4 million domestically and grossed $394.1 million worldwide. Studi, known for "Dances with Wolves" and "Avatar," and DiLiegro, known for "Only Murders in the Building" and "Prey," bring extensive film and television credentials to the project.
