Progressive thrash metal band Blind Illusion will release a new live album, "Stage Flight: Live At The UC Theatre", on 16 October 2026 via Hectic Records/Bleeding Priest Records. The record captures a 2025 reunion performance with original vocalist David White at the UC Theatre in Berkeley, California, marking a significant moment for a band that has been shaping the underground progressive thrash scene since 1978.

The concert took place during celebrations for Exodus's 40th anniversary of "Bonded By Blood", with Blind Illusion sharing the bill with Exodus, Death Angel and Nukem on what would have been Paul Baloff's birthday. Led by founder Mark Biedermann, the band's current line-up also includes Phil Cosentini, Avery Thurman and Martin Lacour, and the release follows a 2024 return to the stage after decades of line-up changes and stylistic shifts, including their acclaimed 1988 debut "The Sane Asylum", which featured future Primus bassist Les Claypool.
