Troye Sivan Makes Surprise Pop-In at Kacey Musgraves’ MSG Show For Live Debut of ‘Easy’ Collab
Kacey Musgraves brought out Troye Sivan as a surprise guest during the second night of her Madison Square Garden stand on 1 September, giving the pair their first live performance of "Easy," a duet they originally released as a remix in 2020. The moment capped a run of collaborations between the two artists dating back to 2019 and delighted fans in attendance, adding a standout highlight to Musgraves' ongoing Middle of Nowhere tour.
The original version of "Easy" appeared on Sivan's In a Dream EP in August 2020, followed by a remix featuring producer Mark Ronson and an accompanying music video. The pair previously teamed up in 2019 on "Glittery" for The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show, and Sivan shared a playful backstage clip of the MSG reunion on TikTok. The performance came a day after Musgraves paid tribute to Dolly Parton, who died last week aged 80, with a cover of "9 to 5." Her tour continues in Philadelphia on 4 September.
